Look at my teeny tiny ladybirds!! Pretty much as simple as it gets but I love them.
They’re just little puffy stickers embedded inside clear resin…possibly slightly trickier than it looks as the puff made them float and turn – there was a lot of poking and three pours of resin in the end to get them fully encased.

I’m not 100% sure about adding them to the shop as they’re quite different from my usual jewellery bits n bobs. I was just trying out something new to make for friends children but these will be coming to Airyhall community fair with me in November, along with a whole bunch of little people jewellery full of toadstools, birdies, pandas and little deer.
So what’s the verdict? Who here has little people and will they like these?

Brodie would love these, although at her age the chains might need to be a wee bit thicker. She’s always stealing my “punk” necklace that you made.
what’s her favourite colour? (I have some green and blue at home too). Do the chains need to be thicker in case of breakage?(I already remembered to take an inch or so off the lengths). Maybe a ribbon necklace would be better in that case.
She says her favourite colour is pink. Breakage was what I had in mind when I commented on chain thickness. Ribbon necklaces would work really well though, that’s a cracking idea.
i think they are lovely – ribbon would work really well i think.
Becca likes this quite a lot. Big thumbs up here.
I LOVE them!! And I bet that my toddlers would adore them too – I bet they go quick smart x
You could put them on cord for kiddies?
Good thinking Pennydog – I just remembered last night that I have a stack of organza and cord necklaces…easy to put on because they have clasps clamped on the end but Vonnie’s pointed out that they’d be good from a safety perspective too because they can snap free if there’s too much restraint put on them. …I guess kind of like snap collars for cats so they don’t hang themselves falling out of trees.
They are so lovely!!! There is a Japanese song that’s supposed to be sung at weddings, about ladybirds, and I might just get these as gifts for us bridesmaids at my friends wedding next year! Do they have to just be for kids? pleeeeeaaase! hehe!
Aww thanks Mochipan! What’s the song? I’m curious now :)
and of course they’re not just for the little ones, I’m actually wearing one right now!
These are stunning and so adorable!
They are really good fun! I think cord would be a great idea. Could you use shoelaces?
What do you think of these necklaces Ali?
