I’ll be taking another two-part resin workshop in Bead Crazy, Aberdeen on the 21st & 28th June 2011.

The dates for this years Glasgow resin workshop have now been confirmed.  Before I jet off on my travels, I’m teaching one last class at the end of the month.

The workshop will be held at the wonderful Damselfly Crafts studio and boutique on Great Western Rd, Glasgow.  On street parking is limited but free after 6pm and the shop is only a minute walk away from Kelvinbridge underground.

Workshop details:

2-part workshop
Wed 26th Jan & 2nd Feb
6.30pm – 8pm

£30 for both dates includes all materials and tuition.  Learn casting, embedding and colouring techniques to create a minimum of two finished pieces of jewellery.  Feel free to bring your own photographs, beads, papers or fabric to embed but I’ll also bring a selection for you to experiment with.

Happy New Year, my lovelies!

I know I’m a little late in bringing it in but I’ve been busy!  Today I have very important nonsense to inform you of.  I’m leaving!  At the end of next month, I’m packing my bags and going on my very first overseas adventure – well, it’s not my first overseas adventure but this time I’m travelling alone so it feels completely new.

I thought it about time to take a break from the norm and  get some fresh inspiration.  So I’ll be travelling for about 3months…maybe shorter if I get lonely, maybe longer if I find something I like – and hopefully I’ll come back with stories to tell and a wealth of new crafts and designs to share, collected and inspired by my travels. “Friends” can view more detailed travel plans on livejournal.

Exciting eh?!  Now for the incredibly sad part – you’re just going to have to do without SpoiltPig Jewellery in the months that I’m gone.  It’s been suggested I hire someone to keep the online shop going and distribute my current pieces but I’m far too precious about my work for that. I like to be the boss of everything and I like my customers knowing that everything came from me, completely, start to finish – so I’ll be closing, around the 10th of February.

Keep an eye on the facebook page to follow events I’ll be attending in the run up to my departure, as from now on, there are going to be HUGE sales and crazy giveaways, to save me on storage space whilst I’m gone!
