Spotted these guys at T in the Park, but my break (I was there with Oxfam) was over before they finished the sound-check and I missed their actual set(waaah!).
The sight of an accordion on stage made me scribble down the (rather excellent) band name anyway to check out when I got home, and I am SO glad I did. They pretty much became my soundtrack for the rest of summer (well, until I saw Carter USM at Beautiful Days festival…and then Pulp at Reading).

Introducing Evelyn Evelyn (for possibly the third time on this feature). Blogged about the Glasgow gig here and due to the awesomeness of twitter, blogging and the amazingly fun and kind DriaHades, I’ll be running away from home and showing up at the London show too! What an adventure :)

The Plasmatics
The inspiration behind the current Featured Item and an absolutely awesome band that I’m probably not old enough to appreciate properly. If only I’d been born a little earlier, in time to see cars being blown up at live shows and guitars chainsawed.
