I don’t think I’d continue with SP too, I just got a bit stuck with it – I know the name’s familiar to a lot of people now but I couldn’t even work out a logo I liked! I worked hard to keep it quite accessible too, everything white and clean and still fairly mainstream…Freak Carousel is hopefully going to be an ‘everything goes, but bring on the weird!’ sort of site, I don’t want to be afraid of being niche, it keeps stopping me making the things I like.

Guess I’m starting from scratch! It’s going to be odd integrating Lexy’s cards and other bits n bobs (multi-talented designer!) with what’s previously been exclusively jewellery but hopefully it’ll all work together on our own site. (I’d REALLY like to bring a million other artyfolk into the fold so get publishing those poems all pretty ;) )

So glad that the new venture is so exciting! You need to grow and develop as an artist & person etc etc etc…

I do think though that there’s a chance you’ll lose some spoiltpig peeps – I wonder, is there a way to continue Spoiltpig as a (forgive the music metaphor, you’ll understand I’m sure) solo project, upon which you occasionally release an album when you’ve material that doesn’t fit in with the band?
